Statement on the Use of Your Personal Information
Privacy Act 1988
NDH Property Direct, Run Property and Odyssey Financial are covered by the Privacy Act 1988 which came into effect on the 21 st December 2001.
In accordance with the obligations under the Privacy Act, this document advises you of the manner in which your personal information is handled by us and by our finance affiliate, Odyssey Financial, or any other such affiliate we may use from time to time.
We respect the privacy of your personal information.
You have consented to NDH Property Direct and Odyssey Financial disclosing the information on your Client Survey and/or Application form, including any personal information, between us. This information may be used in assessing loan structures and amounts.
We have collected your personal information in order to complete an assessment for finance. If you do not provide all of the required information, the assessment by Odyssey Financial may not be accurate.
NDH Property Direct and Odyssey Financial will retain your personal details in order to communicate with you about the funding and other services to you. You have a right to access this information, in accordance with the Privacy Act. If you wish to exercise your right of access, please contact our office or Odyssey Financials offices.
A copy of your personal particulars may be provided to the lender in order to assist your application, and some of the information on the application form is provided to Plan Australia in order to administer the commission payable by the bank. The information held by Plan Australia is accessible by you in accordance with the Privacy Act. Electronic and Other Information
NDH Property Direct, Odyssey Financial and Plan Australiamay communicate with you about your application for finance, other advices, which may be of interest to you, and general information about home loans, investment loans and other forms of finance.

Referral of Your Information to Other Service Providers
As discussed with you, NDH Property Direct and Odyssey Financial are pleased to provide you with our services and also to refer you to other service providers for the purposes of discussing and securing insurance and other financial products. If you do not consent to such referral and our forwarding your information only to the service providers discussed with and approved by you, please email scott.elks@ndhdev.com.au
Consent and Acknowledgement
I/We, the applicants, consent of the collection, use and referral of our personal information as detailed above. We acknowledge that we have received a copy of this form for our records.
What type of information do we hold?
The type of information we hold varies depending on the type
of product or service we provide to you. For example, NDH Property
Direct will hold different information about you if you have
facilitated an Investment Loan through us than we will hold if
you have are simply a member us.
In general, we may hold the following personal information:
- Name and address
- Date of birth
- Contact details, which may include your telephone number
- Your gender
We may also hold the following information about you:
- Occupation
- Tax file number, where you have given it to us
- Health information (for some types of insurance)
- Information relevant to your financial situation, for example
where we have facilitated a investment loan through us .
- Insurance claim information, where this is relevant
- Your employer's name and address
- Your salary
- The names and addresses of your dependants or beneficiaries
- Other information that you have given us
How do we use this information?
We use this information to source appropriate products and services
for you from our network of licensed affiliates. These services
and products may relate to property investment, accounting, conveyancing
services.
We may also use the information to send you material about other
financial products or services. If you do not want to receive
this type of material, tell us and we will stop. Our contact

Do we usually share information with other companies?
We do not usually share information with anyone else other than
its internal staff and advisers on a restricted basis. We do
share information as required by law eg. The ATO, Centrelink.
We do not sell mailing lists.
How do we handle a request for access to personal information?
Under the National Privacy Principles you are generally entitled
to access the information we hold about you. Where you are entitled
to access, the time we require to give you access will depend
on the type of information requested. If we can, we will answer
your question immediately. We will also try to answer you in
the same way that you ask, for example, if you telephone to ask
for the information we will, if practicable, give you that information
over the telephone. We will generally respond to a written request
in writing. Sometimes, we will ask that you put your request
in writing, for example, where you want copies of material or
access to older information or files which are not current or
it is necessary for us to retain a record of your request. We
may also ask you to identify yourself to our satisfaction. If
we are entitled under the National Privacy Principles to refuse
to give you access, we will tell you and provide reasons.
What if some of the information we hold is wrong?
Please tell us. We want our records to be accurate, complete
and up to date. Unless we disagree with you about the accuracy
or completeness of a record, we will generally correct it on
request, (or suggest alternative arrangements for updating our
records).
How do I make further enquiries or complain about a breach of
privacy?
If you require more information about the way we manage personal
information or wish to make a complaint about a breach of your

for privacy issues.
