The Directors

NDH Developments Pty Ltd is a development company specialising in construction of multi-unit residential developments in Victoria.

The directors of NDH Developments Pty Ltd, Alexander (Sandy) Davidson and Daryl Henwood, have been in business partnership for over 25 years, and have been associated both professionally and socially for a period spanning close to 30 years. In 1990, Sandy and Daryl became the directors of the building company, New Dimension Homes Pty Ltd. The company comprised two distinct divisions, (1) order home construction to the public and (2), speculative multi-unit residential developments undertaken by the Group.

During the years of 1990 - 1999, under the directorship of Sandy and Daryl, New Dimension Homes Pty Ltd became the second largest builder in Victoria and the seventh largest builder Nationally, constructing over 600 houses and 400 units per annum, with an office staff of only 16 people.

While the developments mostly consisted of multi-unit construction within Victoria the company has also completed a number of multi-storey dwellings, along with a major project undertaken in South Korea in 1996.

As New Dimension Homes the company gathered a group of the best sub-contractors of each trade to travel to South Korea to physically teach the local tradesmen to construct homes with an "Australian Style" as an alternative to their traditional homes.

In July 1999, the contract residential division of the company was sold to an external party (now operating under the name of New Dimension Homes (Victoria) Pty Ltd). With this sale came a restructure of the company, New Dimension Homes Pty Ltd, and the majority of the staff continued on with the new entity.

On 1st January 2000, NDH Developments Pty Ltd began operation with both Sandy and Daryl as directors of the company.

Over the past 6 years, NDH Developments Pty Ltd has successfully constructed (as builder / developer), over 1100 residential dwellings, which have all been company funded, with another 300 in the planning stages for construction over the next 18 months.

NDH Developments Pty Ltd prides itself on teamwork both within the administration of the office through to the sub-contractors on site.

The foundation of trade sub-contractors that have worked for New Dimension Homes Pty Ltd continued on when NDH Developments Pty Ltd was formed.

The majority of the sub-contractors have worked under the supervision of Sandy and Daryl for at least 10 years, some having been of association in some manner for periods extending 25 years or more.

This feeling of teamwork has been a major contribution to the success of NDH Developments Pty Ltd in the past, and will no doubt continue to thrive in the future.
